Weight Loss vs Fat Loss

While there is no doubt that losing weight can be a positive goal for many people, it's important to remember that weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing. 🧐

Weight loss can refer to the loss of fat, muscle, or other tissues in the body, while fat loss specifically refers to the reduction of stored fat reserves. 👈

In your weight-loss journey, you should aim for maximized fat loss and minimized muscle or other tissue-wasting during your weight-loss efforts.

One effective way to lose weight in a way that promotes maximum fat loss is through a combination of diet and exercise. 🏋️‍♀️

In fact, it's quite simple - have a moderate daily caloric deficit of up to 400-500 calories (losing about 1 lb per week) and consume sufficient protein (about 0.8-1g per lb of body weight.)

And, most importantly, stay consistent!

It's that simple! 👈
